A Display of Israel’s Creative and Diverse Film Industry

News from Berlin. Yesterday saw the kickoff of the Israeli Film Festival in Berlin. The event, which is in its second edition, will host approximately 40 showings including short and long films. Overall, the festival plays host to feature films, as well as documentaries. The goal of the organizers is to present Israel’s independent and diverse film scene. The films on show cover a wide range of subject areas including Israel’s history, culture, current societal issues and family life. The four day event, which lasts until March 23, will present multiple film premieres and will take place at the Moviemento Kino on Kottbusser Damm.
