H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with a number of officials at World Government Summit held in Dubai

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation met with a number of government officials at World Government Summit, that is currently held in Dubai.

Minister Sheikh Abdullah met with the President of 73rd United Nations General Assembly María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés and discussed several issues on the UN agenda in which the UAE is involved in. Sheikh Abdullah stressed the enhancement of joint action, cooperation in addressing global challenges. President Garcés thanked the United Arab Emirates for support through global humanitarian efforts.

Sheikh Abdullah also met with the President of the French Constitutional Council, Laurent Fabius. They discussed various topics, such as friendly relations between France and the UAE, further development of relations between the two countries and strengthening them in different fields. Laurent Fabius noted the efforts of the UAE to keep the peace in the region.

Moreover, The UAE highlights the importance of the UN World Food Programme in providing vital aid to millions of people across the globe. That was said by the Foreign Minister in a meeting with David Beasley, Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme.

In conclusion, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan reconfirmed the readiness of the United Arab Emirates to further support international institutions and encourage global humanitarian work.
