The Polish Institute Berlin will host a conference about the concept of National Identity in Europe. What role should National Identity play with European Integration, and what are the limits to it.

National Identity with its roots in history is an ongoing and important topic to bring attention to within the framework of European Integration and cultural heritage. The Polish Institute in Berlin will be hosting a conference on the important topic of the National Identity on February 2nd, 2019 in the Polish Institute Berlin.

It is easily evident that history plays a vital role in the formation of the autonomous wish of nations within the European Union and within the European culture. The importance of this conference is to highlight of the role of national identity and to what extent it should influence the concept of European integration.

The 21st century is a platform in itself for the question of Identity and National Identity to be more explored and taken into account. A peaceful integration of all nations is possible when there is mutual respect for our neighboring countries.
