Enjoy Many Varieties of Beer in Berlin from the 3rd to 5th of August

This year’s 22nd International Berlin Beer Festival will take place along Karl-Marx-Allee between Strausberger Platz and Frankfurter Tor.

This annual event boasts the Word’s Longest Beer Garden, a feat noticed by Guinness World Records. Visitors from around the world will gather here for three days and three nights to enjoy the company of over 800,000 visitors who are expected to attend the festival.

Three hundred and forty-four breweries will be in attendance which will represent over eighty-seven countries. 2,400 brands of beer will be available for tasting and purchase. Among food specialties that can be enjoyed at the festival, attendants can also enjoy live music on 19 different stages from both national and international artists.

This year’s theme is “Beers from the other end of the world: The ‘hop side’ of New Zealand”. At the festival, one can find the many kinds of beer split up by the region that they are from. German states like Bavaria, Saxony, Westphalia, and Thuringia will be represented in addition to foreign countries like Vietnam and Japan. This festival will be able to please the taste buds of any beer drinker as so many varieties will be available.

Admission for the event is free and the hours are as follows:

August 3rd – 12:00-24:00
August 4th – 10:00-24:00
August 5th – 10:00-22:00
