The 22nd annual Jewish Film Festival will take place from the 4th of June until the 19th of June. Filmmakers from all over the globe will be invited to showcase their work at the event. The goal of this event is to display the diversity of Jewish life through cinema.

The GSBTB project was founded in 2013 with the aim of creating a network that brings together those people who arrive to Berlin as migrants and who are not German-speakers. Both migrants and refugees can be part of the initiative, which so far has promoted dialogue, intercultural exchanges and partnerships between the newcomers to the capital.

They describe themselves as "an initiative to connect new Berliners with social organizations and making it easier to give something back to a city we love." Inter alia, they work for an online platform that fosters the integration and the social influence of migrants. GSBTB also provides them with opportunities to improve their social involvement. In addition to this they have also started their own projects for the cooperation of refugees, communities, NGOs and companies. Also, GSBTB has organized events to promote networking and intercultural understanding.

Give Something Back to Berlin organizes monthly community meet-ups where young refugees and non-refugees; runs a weekly English teaching class for refugees and supports the German teaching project "Break Isolation Deutsch Unterricht" with German speaking volunteers; connecting refugees who perform music sessions, as jam sessions, through the city and, finally, support projects like "Decorating the Charlottenburg shelter" and cycling lessons for migrant women with bikeygees.

The GSBTB project is one of the most active organizations of the city and the work of the people and the work of those who work there has been recognized by winning this prize. Working with communities and involving migrants with the city of Berlin not only facilitates the inclusion of foreign communities, but also promotes a valuable message of sharing and understanding different cultures.
