Meeting between the Polish Deputy Minister and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China

The meeting took place on Saturday the 3rd of March at the headquarters of the Polish Foreign Ministry where the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Chao, and the Deputy Minister of Poland, Maciej Lang, discussed bilateral issues and cooperation between Warsaw and Beijing. The guest was greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Jacek Czaputowicz.

The cooperation and the diplomatic relations between China and Poland have been going on for decades. The development of cultural relations between the two countries has also flourished, which the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reinforces saying that they both have a large, mutual interest in the exchange of cultural and artistic values. During the meeting, they also focused at economic cooperation such as agriculture, infrastructure and science.

Deputy Minister Lang considers China as an important partner with a history of friendly relations between the countries. Both the deputy ministers expressed a wish to deepen the mutually beneficial relationship. In 2011, the Polish-Chinese strategic partnership strengthened with the so-called Strategic Dialogue.

Discussions and meetings between deputy foreign ministers are held alternately in both countries, and the last time was in 2017.
