Spring Festival “Nauryz” in the Great Hall of the Berliner Philharmoniker

Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Organizes Concert

On March 20th, the Consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the German-Kazakh Society cooperated in organizing the celebration of spring in Berlin. The Great Hall of the Berliner Philharmoniker will be the venue of a big orchestra. The Kazakh Folk Instrumental Orchestra and a Symphonic Orchestra from Kazakhstan will perform several arrangements under the first violin of Aiman Mussakhadzhajewa.

The “Nauryz” Spring Festival is an important celebration in Kazakhstan. It is one of the oldest holidays on Earth.

The Orchestra’s performing on March 20th are both connected to the Kazakh National University of Arts. The Kazakh Child Folk Music Orchestra, under the director Maralzhan Myrzakulova, will play several pieces of opera, ballet and symphonic music. Afterwards, the Eurasian Symphonic Student Orchestra of the National University under director Aidar Torybajev. This orchestra will play pieces of world-famous composers, such as Tchaikovsky.

The music will be accompanied by ballet arrangements, celebrating the arrival of Spring.
