During his visit to Germany, the Polish Senator Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz came to visit the CeBit in Hannover. CeBit is Germany’s most important technology fair. He also met with MPs of the German and the Lower-Saxony parliament, as well as Brandenburg’s Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke who coordinates the German-Polish cooperation in Germany.

In Berlin, Marshall Borusewicz met with the President of the German Parliament Norbert Lammert as well as with representatives of the German-Polish cooperation group of the Parliament. Before he left, the Marshal had a meeting with the President of the German Bundesrat, as well as with the Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Erwin Sellering.

On March 13, a meeting was held in the Polish Embassy in Berlin that included several representatives of the Polish community in Germany. The main topics were the implementation of a forum for the Polish community where they could express their interests. A major issue that concerned them would be the possibility of conducting Polish language courses in German schools.
