On International Mandela Day, the mission of the South African Embassy helped to remember President Nelson Mandela and in his memory carried out an afternoon of social work.

In honor of the International Mandela Day, Ambassador Phumelele Stone Sizani and the Embassy team took part in at least 67 minutes of social work. The diplomatic mission supported the Bahnhofsmission Zoologischer Garten, dividing into shifts throughout the afternoon they prepared and served a meal to people in need.

In addition, the embassy staff collected and donated 140 euros to the foundation.

With this gesture the ambassador wanted to show that everyone can help their community and should be our duty and want to help those in difficult situations for the sake of society.

In addition, through social service and help we can exchange information and experiences with people other than ourselves.
