The yearly DMY Berlin is an international platform for contemporary product design where both well-known and new young designers introduce new products, prototypes and experimental concepts.

In the large hangar of Tempelhof’s airport, the International Design Festival 2014 will present experimental prototypes and inspirational objects from more than 500 international designers. At 12,000 square meters, the exhibition shows new products from internationally known designers, new talents, design studios, and companies as well. This year’s fair will be focused on the following areas: DMY Exhibitor, DMY New Talent, Universities & Schools DMY, DMY social design, DMY regional focus, DMY Market and Symposia, Open Talks & Workshops.

The DMY exhibition also includes an extensive program of panel discussions, designer-talks and workshops that address topics of contemporary design trends. The purpose of the exhibition is to reflect and identify the important future-trends of product design and its related disciplines. Whether it’s a mobile phone, a lamp, a notebook or a shelving system – these objects are to surround us with their designs influencing our daily lives.
