Improving Cooperation between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Germany

Parliament Delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) visited BiH Embassy in Berlin

Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), Barisa Colak and Halid Genjac, who are in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) and Parliamentary Military Commissioner Bosko Siljegovic, visited the Bosnian Embassy in Berlin on June 2nd 2016.

BiH Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Zeljko Janjetovic, informed the members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of activities hosted by the BiH Embassy in Germany, the state of bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways of improving cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Federal Republic of Germany. He placed special emphasis on the improvement of inter-parliamentary and economic cooperation.

Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly in the OSCE PA are “familiar with the preparations of activities that our Embassy is planning to implement in order to increase the scope of economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries, and further improve the image of our country in Germany” said Janjetovic.

A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina resided at the Conference on the implementation of the OSCE Code of Conduct on Political - Military Aspects of Security, which took place in Berlin from June 2nd-3rd, 2016.

The conference was jointly organized by OSCE PA and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
