“Good France” is Coming to Germany

Celebrating French Gastronomy Worldwide

Good France is back on March 21st in participating restaurants all over the world Events. Good France will also take place in more than 150 French Embassies and Consulates such as the Embassy in Berlin. The aim is for Chefs to prepare a French Style Diner to promote French Cuisine and savoir-faire.

This year, Provence is the spotlight destination of Good France as it will show off in the events in France and abroad. Following the COP21 and the parliamentary assemblies on nutrition, this year edition decided to focus more ‘healthy’ eating and for the occasion, on sustainable food will be organised in Paris by the UNESCO.

Furthermore, Good France decided to support the Foundation ‘No More Plastic’ acting for the protection of the environment and the limitation of plastic. During the event, the foundation will be represented on March 22 by Alexandra Cousteau during a ‘Good Impact’ round table addressing environmental issues such as environment and resources preservation.

This year and for the first time, the French institute in Germany will take part in the event by organizing a range of events on gastronomy and Francophonie (Francophonie Festival on March 20th ). The network of French school in Germany is also involved and in Berlin, the Voltaire Elementary School will organised workshops on France and its regional culinary products in collaboration with a Cheese experts.
