How to become a successful female entrepreneur in Germany

The Comites Berlin, together with the Italian Embassy, organized a meeting to provide information on how to become a successful female entrepreneur in Germany.

On June 18th, 2018 the Italian embassy and the Comites Berlin will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing female entrepreneurs in Germany. Numerous entrepreneurs and experts in the field will meet to discuss the main concerns and issues confronting business initiatives and management.

The opening speeches will be given by the experts Pakize Schuchert Güler (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin) and Martina Giesler (BMWi). They will introduce the general topic, paying special attention to the objectives and results of the Ministerial program “Frauen Unternehmen” and other initiatives and tools promoted by the German government.

The opening speeches will be followed by a presentation by Sara Borella (DIHK - Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag e.V.) who will outline the Chamber of Commerce’s actions in this specific area. Later, Sonia Barani (ITKAM, German Chamber of Commerce) will present the European Project, which is dedicated to the promotion of the female business community and various initiatives, namely “crossEUWBA”.

To conclude, three foreign female entrepreneurs (Aynur Boldaz-Özdemir – founder of “Forever Clean”, Mirella Facchinetti – founder of Colibrì, Maria Crosato – founder of “Süss Mery”) will report their personal experiences, specifically discussing the difficulties that they have faced along with the strengths that allowed them to create a successful business.

The event, free of charge, will be held at the Italian Embassy’s Conference Room (Tiergartenstr. 22, 10785) at 6.30 pm.
