Exposition “Humboldt in América”
Promoting the historical backgrounds and evolution of the German- Mexican bilateral relations.

The Mexican Embassy in Berlin has organized and collaborated in the exhibition commemorating the Humboldt adventure in America through the creative work and the comics.
A graphic exhibition "Humboldt in America" with work prepared by the famous German comic illustrator Özi is taking place at the Mexican Embassy in collaboration with Instituto Mexicano en Alemania and German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The exhibition includes 20 panels of illustrations accompanied by information cards in Spanish and German. Through the comic the work recounts Humboldt's journey through America. The German illustrator Sebastian "Özi" Jenal was born in 1977 in the city of Bonn and for more than ten years he has been producing comics for government institutions such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
