Ethiopian Diaspora in Germany welcomes New Ambassador Designate

Members of the Ethiopian diaspora in Germany welcomed H.E. Mulu Solomon Bezuneh, the new Ethiopian Ambassador Designate to Germany.

Hundreds of Ethiopians and people of Ethiopian origin were present during the celebrations that took place at the residence of the ambassador. Throughout the festivities, the Ambassador-designate expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome accorded to her and stressed the importance of the diaspora’s engagement in the country’s socio-economic and political matters; including its commitment to the protection of Ethiopian citizens’ rights, increased foreign investment and trade, tourism, and to the promotion of the country’s image.

H. E. Mrs. Mulu also took this opportunity to acquaint herself with the Ethiopian Honorary Consuls of Munich, Bremen, Hamburg and Stuttgart and with the heads of different sections of the Ethiopian embassy. The event was supported with Ethiopian food, varieties of country music and a traditional coffee ceremony.
