Celebrating Franco-German Bonds at Brandenburger Tor

News from Berlin - On July 19th, few days after the French National Day, the French Embassy and the Franco-German Youth organization (OFAJ) will invite Berliners and visitors to Berlin at the Franco-German Party «Jour de Fête ! – Das deutsch-französische fest ».

Some French specialities will be offered, a Biergarten will be installed for the occasion and several French entrepreneurs settled in Germany will be there to discuss about their jobs and the relations they maintain with their german colleagues.

This festival is also an opportunity to discover various works of art, while the children will be able to discover their neighbors, thanks to FranceMobil and DeutschMobil installations. Information about french courses at the French Institute ​​will also be given during the event. Finally, the French artist Féloche and German group Puppetmastaz will perform, respectively at 7:30p.m  and 9p.m, to set the mood during the afternoon.

The event will take place from 12am to 10:30pm on Pariser Platz, where the French Embassy is located (Wilhemstrasse 69, 10117 Berlin), right in front of Brandenburger Tor. To get there, you can take the U-Bahn (U55 line) or S-Bahn (S1, S2, S25 lines) and stop at Brandenburger Tor station for both, or the bus (N100 line).
