C!RCA, an Australian Circus from Brisbane came to Stuttgart on June 30th ,2015 to present stories of history and culture through the medium of acrobatic performance.

In their new show S is inspired by the grammatical functions and sound of the 19th letter of the alphabet. S fills the stage with the raw immediacy of performers at their physical and emotional limits. C!RCA comes to Germany to create a story about the fragility of the fragility of human emotions. The main themes presented revolve around our opportunities, our obstacles, our power, and our vulnerabilities.

The Australian Embassy in Berlin has been promoting the show, as Germany is one of the few international locations where C!RCA is going to perform. C!RCA Artistic Director Yaron Lifschitz is dedicated to proliferating Australian talent to contemporary European festivals, and in doing so creating a lasting impression of Australian performance within the international community.

In 2014, Director Lifschitz was invited to Berlin for the screening of The Turning, at the Berlinale Film Festival and since this time, has professed a deep respect for the German artistic community. Making it important for him and his troupe to return to Germany this year with his new show. He believes that S is a physical ode to plurality that extends the possibilities of human strength and flexibility, through acrobatic medium. The end result is a rich impression of human history and emotion that transcends sovereign borders and appeals to the base humanity of people.
