The Ambassador
Amb. Marķa Victoria Morera Villuendas
Born on May 25, 1956 in Madrid and admitted to the Diplomatic Career in 1982, Amb. Marķa Victoria Morera Villuendas has been assigned to the Spanish diplomatic missions in Germany and Brussels. From 1994 to 2000 she was a consultant in the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government, director of the Instituto Cervantes in Brussels and director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In May 2003 she was appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in September 2004 Ambassador of Spain Belgium. In May 2008, she was appointed ambassador to the Special Mission-Director of the Consular Emergency Unit and since January 2012 she was Director General of Bilateral Relations with European Union Countries, Candidate Countries and Countries of the European Economic Area.
