French Embassy celebrates ‘Jour de Fête’ in Berlin

The relations between France and Germany are notoriously strong. In order to underline the friendship between the two countries, the French Embassy in Berlin organizes an event with the purpose of showing the richness of France at all its levels.

The celebration took place on Parisier Platz on the 15 and the 16 of Juli. During these two days, all the participants had the chance to explore the traditions of this magnificent country, and thus enhance their knowledge about the cultural aspects about it.

In particular, le ‘jour de fête’ provided a wide range of activities for both adults and children. For instance, the most younger could attend circus-related exhibitions such as make-up sessions or juggling, while the older can watch a series of theater shows.

In addition, the presence of music and dance will add that ‘French touch’ which is essential to create an even more unique atmosphere. In fact, the highlight of the festival is represented by the presence of famous French artists, such as the famous soul singer, Imany, and the Parisian choir, Les petits chanteurs de Sainte-Croix de Neuilly.

Moreover, all the guests had the incredible opportunity to taste the renowned French cuisine, especially its delicious sweets, ranging from crêpes to macarons. Even though the festival has been celebrated for 11 years until now, it has always revealed himself as being extremely successful. France continues indeed to arise charm and curiosity among the German public, and for that reason the ‘jour de fête’ will constitute an outstanding platform for cultural exchange, but above all, it provides an excellent way to live a day ‘comme un Français’.
