News from Berlin - FASE is a German-Spanish annual festival that was founded in 2010 and since then, it has been dedicated to the promotion of the Sound Art development in Berlin.

In collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes, FASE festival presents an international group of artists whose work run between visual and sound creation, interpretation and performance. Following the aim of becoming a meeting spot of dialogue and reflexion about sound art and experimental music, FASE has became a transnational cooperation platform for interchange between Spanish and German artists. The project will begin in the frame of FASE in Berlin and then it will travel to Stockholm and Madrid.

FASE 2014 Festival will take place in the Instituto Cervantes of Berlin and Villa Elisabeth, from the 11th to the 13th of June, offering workshops, conferences and performances held by professionals. However the festival will not open the doors to the public until the 12th and 13th of June, since the 11th it will hold a private presentation of the project “sounding the city: critical approaches to urban soundscapes”, in which will participate the previously selected artists in sounding art.
