Sylvie Baïpo-Témon was directly appointed on December 14th, 2018 by the current President of the Central African Republic Dr. Foustin Archange Touader to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Central African Republic.

Baïpo-Témon got a license in economics from the University of Orléans in France in 1996. Afterwards she studied economy and financial integration at the University of Poitiers in France. She later finished her masters in bank currency finance at the University of Paris X Nanterre. After studying Baïpo-Témon worked 15 years at the large French bank BNP Paribas. Between 2014 and 2015 she worked as a representative for the Central African Republic Diaspora Committee. In 2018 she was appointed through a written decree by the sitting president Touader to become the new Foreign Minister.
