Can you revive love in seven days? The answer: “Love Building”

News from Berlin - “New Romanian Films” introduces the second event which aims to create dialogue between the German public and Romanian movie directors and their work with the movie Love Building, which is to be screened at fsk Kino in Berlin on April 17th.

The 2013 dramatic comedy, directed by Iulia Rugina, unfolds the story of fourteen couples, all in critical points of their relationship, that try to restore their love by participating in a 7-day program with three therapists and trainers. Interpreted by Romanian actors Dragos Bucur, Alexandru Papadopol and Dorian Boguta, the three therapists must surpass their own emotional problems in a hectic race for “happy ever after”.

The director of the movie, Iulia Rugina is a graduate of The “I.L. Caragiale” National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. She is the director of eight short films and three medium-length films which include: “Hi Cristina! Bye Cristina!” (short film - 2006), “Museum of Broken Relationships” (short film - 2009) or “Sink” (medium-length film - 2010). Her debut feature film “Love Building” has been awarded with several awards in the International Film Festivals of Varsovia and Thesalonik and her movies have been screened in more than 13 countries.
